Hello guys! How are you? I hope it’s ok. Well, uff .. I’m a little dizzy right now 😵, I don’t know why I’m like this .. but here I am in my bedroom, in front of my humble computer, hahaha! writing this blog, ooobvio !! 😆without having eaten so much lunch (just some rolls that had dulce de leche as a filling, and frozen apple-flavored commercial tea, since I hardly ever drink “powdered” teas (the ones that come in bags). I don’t like to drink them much Not even if it’s warm! 😞 And tell me, do you drink tea in tea bags?
Well then! Anyway, now I want to tell you about a very, very funny experience that I had a few days ago. One day, after getting up and brushing my teeth, I abruptly decided to go get some delicious muffins. There are them in a very close bakery, just a few meters from my home! Since I like to walk, the idea of walking there to get bread made me very excited. Although I was still at home, my mind had already filled with images of the breads and cakes that were surely there. How exciting! A few moments later, he was ready to go to the bread shop. I did not say goodbye to anyone because it seemed that everyone at home was busy with something. So I went out alone. 😦
count the vehicles
On the way I met only very few people coming and going. I could easily count the vehicles because there were hardly a few there traveling. I didn’t dare call any of them because, as I said, I prefer to go on foot to go in a transport. In my opinion, going on foot is healthier than riding in a car for example; it helps to burn fat and does not release gases that are harmful to the planet. ”Besides, I want to save money so that I have something to spend in the future. Unfortunately, although I am the type of person who saves money, sometimes I tend to spend a lot especially for tasty meals in restaurants or shopping centers. Yes I know I shouldn’t. These things are irresistible! (even you will agree with me). Now talking about these things makes me hungry …
However, I don’t have to worry because I recently went out to the dining room for snacks and a glass of fruit juice. Now I am still in my bedroom, talking to you my dear readers. Haha! It seems like I’m running out of words to say. Let’s leave this topic and move on to the funny anecdote that I told you about in this post.
came to the bakery as a normal person
Okay, I don’t know if it was just forgetfulness or in a hurry that day. But what happened was very funny, and at the same time embarrassing! 😖I came to the bakery as a normal person. He made me look at the windows to see what was sold on that day. Yes, there is a great variety of breads and cakes displayed there for everyone to buy and enjoy! However, as much as I wanted to, I did not ask everyone who was there. I only chose two types of bread, and a cake. The price tag said that the breads were cheaper than the cakes. Clear! It’s because cakes are more elaborate than simple muffins. They require many skills on the part of the baker. The time was six thirty, pretty early, right? Yes, now I usually wake up at that time every day, in contrast to the past when I woke up later, Between eight and ten in the morning, even earlier I would wake up at noon.
Well, the shop assistant at the bakery already knew about my order, took it and put it in the brown paper bag (why not the plastic bag? Because plastic takes many years to decompose, whereas the paper bag decomposes a lot faster and safer for nature). A short queue had already formed with three people behind me, all eager to buy. But what a shame! They had to wait their turn because that is the polite way to behave in public places. I looked at my wristwatch and saw that it was already twenty-five to seven (or six thirty-five).
Five minutes have passed, I was already waiting in line for five minutes, and the bag with my order was still not in my hands. 😠 I waited a couple more minutes, and finally here came one of the assistants bringing my order. She said it cost thirty-five Philippine pesos. I took out my wallet … ow! But what was inside? Some cards, some photos of me and my family, a small bottle of perfume, some coins, and no money bills!
couldn’t pay for my order
Holy mother! What will I do now? I couldn’t pay for my order now, and I’m starving already! The girl was looking at me with a questioning face. Finally he told me if there was a problem. I answered yes … that I did not have enough money to pay for the three items I had asked for. She suggested that I count the contents of the wallet well, which I did. There were three coins worth ten pesos each, and seven coins worth one peso each. Wow! It’s like magic! Add them up and I’d have thirty-seven pesos, enough for all three of my orders. 👏 I told her the amount that was in the wallet and she smiled at me, handing me the bag, and I handed her the thirty-seven pesos. He gave me the change of two pesos. However I did not accept this.
I wanted it to serve as a tip for her. But she did not accept either, and insisted that they stay with me, because their store does not accept any tips from customers. So I thanked him and went home, with the grocery bag 🍞🍰 and such a big smile! 😃 But this one did not accept either, and insisted that they stay with me, because their store does not accept any tips from customers.
